Pine.

(Scientific name: Pinus sylvestris, family Pinaceae) Known as silvester pine, Scots/Scotch pine, red pine, white pine Pine has the following properties:  Buds (new leave shoots) and leaves are used for respiratory affections such as cough, colds, chronic and acute colds, bronchitis, pneumonia, sinusitis, pharyngitis.  Essential oils have balsamic, expectorant, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and diuretic properties. Remain on alert: serious epidemics are appearing before humanity and they attack the respiratory system, for which I call you to use PINUS NEEDLES/LEAVES, with extreme prudence, in doses no greater than twice a day, in the form of tea. 

Boil three tablespoons of dried pine needles/leaves in a liter of water (4.22 cups), take one cup twice a day. Not to be used by very small children or pregnant women. 

 



Mullein.

 

..Has expectorant, cough suppressant properties to treat sore throat, cough and colds, bronchitis, asthma, allergies. Antiviral for certain influenza virus.  The plant may cause skin irritation for some people, so be sure to exercise caution if you’re handling the herb directly...Use in discreet amounts.

To make the tea with dried leaves, simply add a small handful of them to an 8-ounce (240-ml) cup of boiling water, then steep them for 15–30 minutes. To prevent throat irritation, use a strainer or cheesecloth to remove as many of the leaves as possible.

If you desire, you can add raw honey, cinnamon, or a lemon wedge.

Hawthorn has blood pressure-lowering activity, according to early research. It seems to cause relaxing of the blood vessels farther from the heart. It seems that this effect is due to a component in hawthorn called proanthocyanidin.   Caution  Before taking hawthorn, talk with your doctor if you take any medications. It has major interactions with several prescription medications. 

Hawthorn Tea – Steep leaves and flowers in boiled water for 15 minutes. The berries are steeped for 15-30 minutes. They can also be boiled for ten minutes but they will lose some of their medicine including Vitamin C. Drink up to three cups a day.
